His professional career dates back to 1993 when he started out as a stockbroker and was appointed Manager of the Stock Exchange Team at BM Kredyt Bank S.A. Between 1994-2000 worked for the CAIB Group (formerly Creditanstalt) developing and then managing operations relating to asset management in Poland, initially as Director of Portfolio Management at CAIB Securities (the first asset management service in Poland), and since 1998 as CEO of CAIB Investment Management.
 
In 2000-2002 - founding member and subsequently CEO of BRE Asset Management (now Skarbiec Investment Management). Responsible among others for portfolio management, financial analysis, licence application at the SEC, human resources.
 
In 2002-2004, during the non-competition period following departure from Skarbiec Investment Management, managed his own business in financial and strategic consulting.

He was awarded for his overall contribution to the Polish financial market as The 2007 Personality of the Year on the Capital and Financial Market. The daily Rzeczpospolita named him the 2007 Success Achiever.
